A little painful - I love the way they look and I couldn't have asked for faster service. When I wore them for an hour they were fine, but all day they are not comfortable. The back heel section seems too high and rubs the tendon. They are narrower than I expected as there is an inflexible inner band to support the stretchy fabric outer band.
